The Arboretum that hosts our meetings
each month has a great collection of gesneriads that is increasing in number
and variety due to donations of plant material provided by members of LIGS. Marge
is the talented young lady who loves gesneriads and does a wonderful job of
providing the conditions that make them thrive in PFA’s greenhouses. For a real
treat and change of pace, the program in June will be a visit to the
greenhouses to see what Marge and her special greenhouse environment has
produced. I assure you that they are not on steroids.
